I live in small town Minnesota about an hour west of Minneapolis with my wife of about 29 years, Karla. We are empty nesters now, but have 3 children and 4 grandchildren so far, all close to home which we really like.   I have been a construction worker most of my life, started on a concrete crew at 15 years old. At 30 I went on my own as a cement contractor and expanded into general contracting which I’ve been doing for 22 years. I’m also a partner with my daughter in a bubbling boulder business. I have a very strong work ethic and I still think it’s OK to work for a living and earn my money.

I give you this background just to let you know where I come from. Up until a few months ago I had no idea how to type or use a computer. I just never wanted to learn how because I was too busy to try to add one more thing to my plate. The reason I decided to learn started almost 20 years ago. My wife and I were involved in a couple of network marketing companies. The first one we worked really hard at for a couple years using the traditional method of marketing at the time. You know the one: making the list of friends, family, and everyone else you don’t know. We worked hard , even to the point where we could start to actually make some money, just to watch it all crumble away. What is duplication anyway? A short time later a new one came along. It was when phone calling cards first came out. This was going to be it! A brand new product! How could you go wrong? We actually built a fairly good organization in about a year. Then we got the news they were out of business,sorry, see ya later.

Now its many years later and I’m still working my butt off, when along comes some guy with a “business proposition”. Well I’m old, but I’m not dead, “yeah I’ll look”.  It’s a network marketing business. Now, I’ve always liked the concept of network marketing, but didn’t like the traditional method of building the business. So I started doing some homework and came across information on using the internet to build several types of online businesses using different marketing strategies.   I can tell you it wasn’t that easy changing from a construction worker to a computer nerd!  It took me a while, but I did it.

If you’re involved in internet marketing today, you know that video marketing is the up and coming trend. I’m OK with that because I’d rather talk than type anyway.

I was raised in the mid-west, the son of a steelworker, so I understand working hard to get what you want.
